| The Brookline Teen
Center web site www.brooklineteencenter.org is
under construction
Brookline is known as one of the best places anywhere in which
to raise kids or grow
up. Our outstanding school system,
diverse population, proximity
to Boston, and rich array of cultural and intellectual resources
make it the envy of other towns. However,
unlike most neighboring
communities, Brookline does not have a Boys and Girls Club, YMCA,
Community Center, or any other institution dedicated to providing
a safe and enriching atmosphere for local teens.
The vision and goal of the Brookline Teen Center Initiative is to
create a safe and enjoyable facility where our teens can engage in
constructive, educational and leisure activities.
We plan to build a facility and offer innovative programming for
teenagers that will foster healthy progress in three key areas: social/emotional
development, academic/enrichment programming, and physical activity/recreation.

The Brookline Teen Center is not yet a 501c3 and is currently a
project of the Brookline
Community Foundation. We are grateful for their
organizational support. Contributions to the Brookline Teen
Center can be made c/o Brookline Community Foundation, 40 Webster
